The Holidays at Filoli are their second busiest time of the year with the hundreds of thousands of lights throughout the garden rooms. It is truly a sight to behold and enjoy. I love the lights. But, I also find the lights make it difficult to shoot the beauty of Winter in the Filoli gardens. So, here are a few of my Holiday Lights shots from over the years at Filoli. About this project: 4 Years At Filoli
This project began when my wife and I were looking for a pandemic-friendly afternoon outdoors and we visited Filoli in Woodside, CA. This was February 2021. Spring had just begun to coax the blossoms and blooms along and it occurred to me that it might be fun to revisit the gardens every week and record the changes. As a member I could get in an hour early on Saturdays. So, a project was born. Four years and 2,090 published images later it was time to wrap this project up. These Filoli galleries are a few of the images from my time at Filoli.
