Quesnel Lake – May 2024

Quesnel Lake, British Columbia – I hadn't been to our cabin on Quesnel Lake in May since before the onset of the pandemic. So, this trip was overdue. Given the "mild" Winter everyone talked about, I wasn't expecting a lot of snow. But, I was treated to cold temps and even several dustings of fresh snow. And, it is always a treat to see the natural surroundings coming out of the winter dormancy. Click on an image to view a slideshow.

Quesnel Lake – Summer 2024

Quesnel Lake, British Columbia – This Summer, like the last several, offered up smokey days as a bi-product of the abundance of wildfires. If there is a silver lining it would be that smokey days cause us to appreciate the clear days even more. Those are days we try to get out and I try to capture something somewhere on the digital sensor or on film that can convey the grandeur of our surrounding environment. There is no order other than random to this gallery. Click on an image to view a slideshow.

All press is good press.

A few years ago, The Leica Camera Blog did and interview with me and featured some of my Quesnel Lake work. Here is a link to that article.
